Description

Imou PS2M 5MP PoE Dome IP Camera Price in Bangladesh

The Imou PS2M 5MP PoE Dome IP Camera is designed for indoor spaces where a customer wants pan-and-tilt coverage with more detail than the 3MP version. It is a practical option for shop floors, counters, reception areas, offices and larger rooms that benefit from a movable view.

Higher-detail indoor monitoring

The 5MP sensor provides extra detail for live viewing and playback. Remote access through the Imou Life app makes it easy to check the camera away from the premises, while smart event notifications help draw attention to activity. Video compression is designed to control bandwidth and recording space.

Why PoE matters

A compatible PoE switch or NVR can deliver power and data through one Ethernet cable. This normally gives a steadier connection than crowded Wi-Fi networks. Confirm the exact regional revision, night-viewing mode, storage support and included power accessories before ordering, as these can vary between versions.

Imou PS2M 5MP PoE Dome IP Camera installation guide

Plan the view before installing this camera permanently. Identify the entrance, counter or walking route you need to monitor, then check the picture at the expected subject distance. More pixels can help with detail, but they cannot compensate for an obstructed lens or a poor viewing angle.

The official specification lists a 3.6mm fixed lens, a microphone and speaker, and a memory card slot supporting up to 512GB. Use the official Imou PS2M 5MP specification to match the supplied unit. The camera supports PoE or the specified 5V DC power input; confirm the connection method before applying power.

Wired network and recording planning

A suitable PoE installation carries power and network traffic over Ethernet. Check the switch power budget as well as the available port count when adding several cameras. Use properly terminated network cable and test the complete run before closing cable routes or fixing the camera to the ceiling.

Decide whether recording will use a memory card, a compatible recorder or another supported arrangement. Ask the installer to test both live video and recorded playback. A working live view does not prove that footage is being saved, and recording time depends on capacity, image settings, scene activity and the recording schedule.

Audio, alerts and everyday operation

With the Imou PS2M 5MP PoE Dome IP Camera, plan microphone and speaker use around the monitoring purpose. Test sound at normal conversation distance and check whether background noise affects clarity. Limit account access to authorised users and review sharing arrangements when staff or household circumstances change.

After installation, walk through the monitored area and inspect the resulting event notifications. Review the night picture too: nearby glass, reflective surfaces and strong light can affect visibility. Keep the viewing area clear and inspect the camera occasionally for dust or a changed angle.

Frequently asked questions

Is a memory card included?

Confirm the package contents before ordering. A supported card capacity describes compatibility and does not mean a card is supplied with every camera. Include recording storage and any installation accessories in your budget.

Can I power the camera from any network port?

No. A normal Ethernet port does not automatically provide PoE. Use compatible power equipment — and confirm the device power specification instead of substituting an adapter from another camera.

How should I compare the complete system cost?

When comparing IP camera price in Bangladesh, include the camera, suitable power equipment, cable, storage and installation. Confirm the exact supplied variant, warranty period and available support before ordering the Imou PS2M 5MP PoE Dome IP Camera for your premises.
